GetIPIntel does not sell the information you provide. GetIPIntel does not track you but if you abuse the free API, logs may be examined in order to stop this abuse. Cloudflare uses a "__cfduid" cookie for security; GetIPIntel does not use any cookies. GetIPIntel does provide GeoIP data in beta, which is opt-in when making API requests.

All logs stored requires privileged access to the system. If files are moved, a secure protocol is used during transmission. Reasonable steps are taken to protect data from unauthorized access.

Custom subdomains or web interface logs:
1) the IP address that made the API request
2) the time stamp of that request
3) the response code of that request
4) and the contact information that was provided during the setup of your custom subdomain or any additional information you provided to use as contact information

In respect to the web interface, exclude (1) and (4) as they are not relevant.
For every API request, the system does not store the IP that was looked up or the email address you used in the contact field in the server logs.
The information stored is required for accounting purposes and debugging in case of issues. It expires in 3 months. Again, the web server log do not store the IP that was looked up or the email address you used in the contact field for the API requests.
The looked up IP may be stored in an active database for performance and the IP information can be used to better the machine learning & probability theory algorithm with a maximum TTL of 3 days. At this stage, there's no indication of who looked up a particular IP, why the IP was looked up, etc. After 3 day, there's no indication that a particular IP was looked up.

If you abuse the API, the abusing IP(s) and other information will be stored for an extended period of time to stop abuse on our systems. The information can be removed if and only if the abuse stops.

If you do not agree to how the information you provide is being used, do not use our service.
The public API (check.getipintel.net) web server logs uses the default web server logging method known as common log format (CLF), which includes the contact email address and the looked up IP. The information is used to check and prevent for abuse and has an expiration period of 3 months.
All other sites or services not mentioned uses common log format (CLF).
